Heather Pillot’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and tort defense. Through a combination of creative litigation strategy and the devotion of considerable personal attention to each of her clients, Ms. Pillot ensures that her team remains ahead of the curve at each step of litigation.

She joins ZKACT from Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, PLC where she handled motions, trials and arbitrations of commercial contract disputes, securities litigation, noncompetition agreements and misappropriation of trade secrets as well as multiple cases involving constitutional claims asserted against the State of Michigan and its agents. Ms. Pillot also serves as an Adjunct Law Professor at the University of Detroit Law School and was previously a member of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association Barrister's Executive Board of Directors.

Graduating cum laude from Wayne State University Law School in 2005, Ms. Pillot was an Associate Editor of the Wayne State University Law Review and a judicial intern to the Hon. Gerald E. Rosen in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
