Cameron R. Getto joined Zausmer, Kaufman, August, Caldwell & Tayler, P.C. in 2008. A civil litigator with more than a decade's experience, Mr. Getto's trial experience has included both plaintiff's and defense work. His current practice focuses on defending complex tort litigation and professional negligence cases.
Mr. Getto's writing has been featured in the Michigan Bar Journal, Michigan Defense Quarterly, and in Michigan Trial Lawyers Quarterly. As a featured speaker, Mr. Getto has addressed fellow attorneys, taught paralegals in seminar format, and even lectured to residents during Grand Rounds at Henry Ford Hospital in downtown Detroit.
Mr. Getto is also a former Trustee of the Ypsilanti Board of Education where he oversaw a school district of about 4,000 students with a $50+ Million budget. He currently serves as Vice President of the Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra, a community non-profit orchestra performing several times a year in and around the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area.
